Lord, Lover of mankind, King of the ages and Giver of all good things, You who have torn down the dividing wall of hostility and granted peace to the human race, have mercy, O Lord, on those who hate us, envy us, and revile us; and likewise on those who speak ill of us. Lest any of them suffer harm because of us, sinners, neither in this age nor in the age to come.

Lord, our God, look down from on high as a Good One upon our hearts, which are devoid of love and unity and are pricked by the thorns of hatred and other sins. May a drop of the grace of Your Holy Spirit, descending upon them, water them abundantly, so that they may bear good fruit and, through their love for You, may grow in good deeds and live in love and unity.

Thus, O Lord, as You multiply love in our hearts, protect us from all evil and from the oppression of visible and invisible enemies, from the sword, from the invasion of other nations against us, from war among ourselves, and always help us to love one another and to do all that is good, so that we may be made worthy of Your heavenly blessings.
