Spiritual evenings or dialogues play a particularly important role in the life of a parish community, as during these gatherings, the serving priests present various topics centered on the Orthodox Church’s teachings of the faith, helping and encouraging the faithful to gain a clearer and more essential understanding of Orthodox spirituality. Each session will be preceded by the reading of an Akathist, combining prayer with doctrinal instruction.
