At the Church of St. John the Evangelist, it has become a tradition to organize community meals.

On Sundays, after the Divine Liturgy, the officiating priests and parishioners remain in the church hall to enjoy another opportunity for fellowship and to renew their sense of Romanian identity here, far from the Motherland.

These community meals are also excellent opportunities for acts of sacrifice, as many of our parishioners take advantage of these occasions to give thanks to the Lord for the blessings they have received.
