\">What a glorious glory for an earthly man to devote to receiving the deception of the Precious Virgin Mary, above all angels!<br \/>\n<\/span><span title=\"Cui altcuiva putea Cel-mai-inainte-de-veci sa-i incredinteze tainele cele mai presus de fire ale Revelatiei tulburatoare a sfarsitului acestei lumi (cartea Apocalipsei), daca nu celui mai curat si mai iubitor dintre \u201cprietenii\u201d Sai, care a\">Who else could forever confide the mysteries above the threads of the disturbing revelation of the end of this world (the book of Revelation), if not the purest and most loving of the &#8220;friends&#8221; of Sai, who <\/span><span title=\"avut si partasia duhovniceasca cea mai apropiata cu Maica Luminii si Imparateasa cerurilor! \">Had the spiritual fellowship closest to the Mother of Light and the Empress of Heaven!<br \/>\n<\/span><span title=\"Fericitul Ieronim istoriseste ca, la sfarsitul trecerii sale pamantesti, pe cand apostolul era batran si slabit, nemaiputand vorbi decat cu mare greutate, spunea doar atat: \u201eCopilasilor, iubiti-va unii pe altii!\u201c.\">Blessed Jerome tells that at the end of his earthly passage, while the apostle was old and weak, unable to talk but with great difficulty, he said only: &#8220;Copilas, love one another!&#8221; <\/span><span title=\"Intrebat de ucenici de ce repeta la nesfarsit aceasta, Sfantul Ioan le-a raspuns: \u201eAceasta este porunca Domnului si, daca o pastrati, este de ajuns\u201c. \">Asked by the disciples why he repeated this indefinitely, Saint John replied, &#8220;This is the commandment of the Lord, and if you keep it, it is enough.&#8221;<br \/>\n<\/span><span title=\"Datori suntem sa ne iubim unul pe altul (1 Ioan 4, 11) si sa ne punem sufletele pentru frati (1 Ioan 3, 16).\">We owe to love one another (1 John 4:11) and to put our souls for brothers (1 John 3:16). <\/span><span title=\"Din pacate, in vremurile noastre lipsite de dragostea cea vie, si personala, cea intru Adevar se propovaduieste cu insistenta o fatarnica fratietate universala, diluata, demagogica si fara consistenta duhovniceasca, ignorandu-se ca oricine tagaduieste pe Fiul nu are nici pe Tatal, si\">Unfortunately, in our times without the vivid and personal love, the Truth is preaching with the insistence of a universal, diligent, demagogic and spiritual conscience, ignorant of the fact that anyone who calls the Son does not have the Father, and <\/span><span title=\"ca trebuie sa umblam intru Lumina, precum El a umblat: \">That we must walk in the Light as He walked:<br \/>\n<\/span><span title=\"\u201cOricine se abate \u015fi nu r\u0103m\u00e2ne \u00een \u00eenv\u0103\u0163\u0103tura lui Hristos nu are pe Dumnezeu;\">&#8220;Whosoever departs, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God; <\/span><span title=\"cel ce r\u0103m\u00e2ne \u00een \u00eenv\u0103\u0163\u0103tura Lui, acela are \u015fi pe Tat\u0103l \u015fi pe Fiul.\">He that is left in his doctrine, he also has the Father and the Son. <\/span><span title=\"Dac\u0103 cineva vine la voi \u015fi nu aduce \u00eenv\u0103\u0163\u0103tura aceasta, s\u0103 nu-l primi\u0163i \u00een cas\u0103 \u015fi s\u0103 nu-i zice\u0163i: Bun venit!\u201c (2 Ioan 1, 9-10) \">If anyone comes to you and does not bring this doctrine, do not receive him in the house, and do not say to him, &#8220;Welcome!&#8221; (2 John 1: 9-10)<br \/>\n<\/span><span title=\"Copii, este ceasul din urma (1 Ioan 2, 18) si multi amagitori au iesit in lume (2 Ioan 1,7), ne spune peste veacuri Sfantul Ioan.\">The children are the last hour (1 John 2:18) and many deceivers have gone out into the world (2 John 1: 7), St. John tells us over ages. <\/span><span title=\"Sa nu \u201emodernizam\u201d mostenirea curata lasata noua de Sfintii Parinti, potrivindu-ne cu acest veac, ci sa deosebim care este voia lui Dumnezeu, ce este bun si placut si desavarsit (Romani 12, 2), dupa cum ne indeamna Sf. Ap\">Not to &#8220;modernize&#8221; the pure inheritance left by the Holy Fathers, fitting with this age, but to distinguish the will of God, which is good and pleasant and perfect (Romans 12: 2), as St. Apostle <\/span><span title=\". Pavel, care-l numea pe Apostolul Ioan \u201estalp al Bisericii\u201c.\">Paul, who called John the Apostle &#8220;the pillar of the Church&#8221;.<\/span><\/span><br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright\" src=\"http:\/\/www.crestinortodox.ro\/files\/image\/ioan-teologul-efes.jpg\" alt=\"\" height=\"286\" width=\"381\"><\/p>\n<div id=\"gt-res-content\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<div id=\"gt-res-tools\"><span id=\"result_box\" class=\"\" lang=\"en\"><span title=\"Porunca dumnezeiasca a iubirii ne cere \u201cs\u0103 nu iubim cu vorba, numai din gur\u0103, ci cu fapta \u015fi cu adev\u0103rul\u201c.\">The divine commandment of love asks us &#8220;not to love the word, only by the mouth, but by the deed and the truth.&#8221; <\/span><span title=\"(1 Ioan, 3, 18).\">(1 John 3:18). <\/span><span title=\"Or, azi se practica cu sarg o nerusinata laudarosenie a celor carora li se pare ca iubesc cu multa usurinta, numai pentru ca stiu sa impleteasca vorbe mestesugite, frumoase si dulci sau pentru ca fac niste gesturi \u201cde ochii lumii\u201c.\">Today, I&#8217;m practicing with a naughty laugherness of those who seem to love them with a lot of ease, only because they know how to do fine, beautiful and sweet words, or because they make &#8220;glances&#8221; of the world. <\/span><span title=\"Iubirea \u201ccu vorba\u201d si iubirea \u201cvirtuala\u201d sunt foarte la moda astazi si multi cad in plasa unor asemenea \u201ciubiristi\u201d de profesie, care dau pe dinafara de vorbe mieroase si clameaza Iubirea pe toate drumurile, dar care sunt dati apoi de gol de\">&#8220;Love&#8221; and &#8220;virtual&#8221; love are very fashionable today, and many fall into the net of such professional &#8220;lovers&#8221; who give off quiet words and clap their love on all roads but are then empty <\/span><span title=\"faptele si de duhul lor. \">Their deeds and their spirits.<br \/>\n<\/span><span title=\"Multora li se pare ca daca au o fire mai sentimentala si mai moale, sunt gata nascuti blanzi si iubitori, practicand o \u201ciubire\u201d fara dreapta-socoteala, dupa trup si sange, iar nu dupa Duh si prigonindu-i chiar sau defaimandu-i\">Many feel that if they have a more sentimental and softer yarn, they are born blond and loving, practicing a &#8220;love&#8221; without right-counting, by body and blood, and not by the Spirit, and even chasing or defamating them <\/span><span title=\"pe cei despre care au impresia ca nu le sunt asemenea. \">Those who feel they are not like them.<br \/>\n<\/span><span title=\"Multi cred, fara sa-si dea seama, ca daca Sfantul Ioan a spus ca \u201cDumnezeu este Iubire\u201c, asta ar insemna si ca orice numesc ei \u201ciubire\u201d este totuna cu\u2026 Dumnezeu.\">Many believe, without realizing, that if Saint John said that &#8220;God is Love&#8221;, that would mean that whatever they call &#8220;love&#8221; is the same with &#8230; God. <\/span><span title=\"Da, Dumnezeu este Iubire, dar ca sa intelegem iubirea lui Dumnezeu trebuie sa si patrundem Duhul iubirii Sale, iar nu sa facem din iubirea noastra psihologica, fireasca si \u201cumanista\u201d idol.\">Yes, God is Love, but to understand the love of God, we must penetrate the Spirit of His love and not make our psychological, natural and &#8220;humanistic&#8221; love idol. <\/span><span title=\"Iubirea poruncita noua de Hristos si propovaduita de Apostolul Ioan nu este aceeasi cu \u201ctoleranta\u201d, \u201ccaritatea\u201d si \u201cfilantropia\u201d de care astazi omenirea secularizata face atata caz, dupa cum nu este aceeasi nici cu exaltarea sau infierbantarea emotionala sau cu slabiciunea sentimentala,\">The love commanded by Christ and preached by the Apostle John is not the same with &#8220;tolerance,&#8221; &#8220;charity,&#8221; and &#8220;philanthropy,&#8221; of which secularized mankind is doing so today, as it is not the same with emotional exaltation or excitement or sentimental weakness, <\/span><span title=\"proprii anumitor personalitati. \">Own personalities.<br \/>\n<\/span><span title=\"Cum bine spunea cineva zilele acestea: Daca scoatem iubirea de aproapele din contextul Duhului si al invataturii Bisericii si o punem mai presus de iubirea de Dumnezeu si de Invatatura Sfintei Scripturi revelata prin Duhul Sfant, atunci devenim idolatri si hulitori, chiar fara sa ne dam seama\">As somebody said these days: If we take the love of the neighbor from the context of the Spirit and the teaching of the Church and put it above the love of God and the teaching of Holy Scripture revealed by the Holy Spirit, then we become idolaters and blaspheurs, even without realizing <\/span><span title=\".\">. <\/span><span title=\"\u201cIubirea\u201d si \u201ctoleranta\u201d care ni se propun azi sunt clar antihristice, pentru ca nu sunt indreptate spre sfintirea oamenilor si apropierea lor de Hristos Dumnezeu, ci spre \u201cinglodarea\u201d oamenilor in pacat si in erezie.\">&#8220;Love&#8221; and &#8220;tolerance&#8221; proposed today are clearly anti-Christ, because they are not directed to the sanctification of people and their closeness to Christ God, but to the &#8220;enslavement&#8221; of men into sin and heresy. <\/span><span title=\"\u201cIubirea\u201d umanistilor si ecumenistilor este fatarnica nu numai pentru ca ea este pura demagogie, ci si pentru ca nesocoteste sau relativizeaza, minimalizeaza atat ideile de pacat si virtute, de Duh Sfant si duh lumesc, cat si orice chestiune legata de Adevar, pentru ca\">The &#8220;love&#8221; of humanists and ecumenists is hypocritical not only because it is pure demagogy, but also because it despises or relativises, minimizes both the ideas of sin and virtue, the Holy Spirit and the worldly spirit, as well as any matter related to Truth, because <\/span><span title=\"nu este iubirea care izvoraste din Dumnezeu, iubirea Duhului celui unic al Adevarului-Hristos.\">It is not the love that comes from God, the love of the one Spirit of the Truth-Christ. <\/span><span title=\"\u201cIubirea\u201d aceasta este menita sa indreptateasca, sa legitimeze pacatul si minciuna, iar oamenii sa ajunga sa nu mai discearna intre bine si rau.\">&#8220;Love&#8221; is meant to justify, legitimate sin and lie, and people can no longer discern between good and evil. <\/span><span title=\"Or, Apostolul si Teologul Iubirii ne invata foarte limpede: \">The Apostle and the Theologian of Love teach us very clearly:<br \/>\n<\/span><span title=\"\u201cNu iubi\u0163i lumea, nici cele ce sunt \u00een lume.\">&#8220;Do not love the world, nor what is in the world. <\/span><span title=\"Dac\u0103 cineva iube\u015fte lumea, iubirea Tat\u0103lui nu este \u00eentru el\u201d (Ioan 2, 15). \">If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him &#8220;(John 2:15).<br \/>\n<\/span><span title=\"Din viata Sfantului Apostol si Evanghelist Ioan ne-a impresionat in mod deosebit acest episod, care da o marturie extraordinara despre ce inseamna jertfelnicia efectiva a pastorului cel bun, dupa chipul lui Hristos, care poarta o grija infinita de fiecare oaie din turma Domnului si pentru\">From the life of the Apostle and Evangelist John particularly impressed us with this episode which gives an extraordinary testimony of what the true pastoral goodness means, in the image of Christ, who carries an infinite care of each sheep in the Lord&#8217;s herd and for <\/span><span title=\"ea nu precupeteste absolut nimic, oricare ar fi pretul. \">It does not preserve absolutely nothing, whatever the price.<br \/>\n<\/span><span title=\"In acest veac plin de invatatori, de predicatori si de moralisti de tot felul, dar tot mai pustiu in Parinti, e bine sa ne amintim macar din pildele vii ale celor vechi ce inseamna cu adevarat sa fii Parinte, ce inseamna cu adevarat dragostea parinteasca si\">In this age full of teachers, preachers and moralists of all kinds, but still more deserted in Parents, it is good to remember at least the living parables of the old ones, what really means to be a Father, what really means parental love and <\/span><span title=\"\u201cpaza sufletelor\u201d fratilor sau fiilor duhovnicesti, spre a nu-i lasa prada \u201cleilor\u201d care racnesc si inghit la tot pasul pe cei aflati in ispita si privati de ocrotirea parinteasca.\">&#8220;Guarding the souls&#8221; of the brethren or of the spiritual sons, in order not to let them loose the &#8220;lions&#8221; who are raving and swallowing all those in temptation and deprived of their parental care.<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft\" src=\"http:\/\/www.calendar-ortodox.ro\/luna\/mai\/Ioan_Evanghelistul_Patmos.JPG\" alt=\"\" height=\"274\" width=\"219\"><span id=\"result_box\" class=\"\" lang=\"en\"><span title=\"\u201c\u00cenc\u0103 nu se cuvine a t\u0103cea \u015fi pe aceasta, pe care ne-o m\u0103rturise\u015fte Clement Alexandrinul (\u2020215).\">&#8220;It is still inappropriate to keep silent on this, which Clement Alexandrin confesses (\u2020 215). <\/span><span title=\"Apostolul, pe c\u00e2nd umbla \u00een Asia prin cet\u0103\u0163i, a v\u0103zut odinioar\u0103 un t\u00e2n\u0103r pornit din fire a face binele, pe care lu\u00e2ndu-l l-a \u00eenv\u0103\u0163at \u015fi l-a botezat.\">The apostle, when he walked in Asia through the cities, once saw a young man turned out of doing good, whom he taught him and baptized. <\/span><span title=\"Apoi, vr\u00e2nd s\u0103 se duc\u0103 de acolo \u00een alt\u0103 parte la propov\u0103duirea Evangheliei, \u00eenaintea tuturor a \u00eencredin\u0163at pe t\u00e2n\u0103rul acela episcopului acelei cet\u0103\u0163i, ca s\u0103-l \u00eenve\u0163e pe el la tot lucrul bun.\">Then, wishing to go somewhere else to the preaching of the Gospel, before all he entrusted the young man to the bishop of that city, to teach him all the good work. <\/span><span title=\"Iar episcopul lu\u00e2nd pe t\u00e2n\u0103r, l-a \u00eenv\u0103\u0163at pe el Sf\u00e2nta Scriptur\u0103.\">And the bishop taking the young man taught him the Holy Scripture. <\/span><span title=\"Dar nu se \u00eengrijea de d\u00e2nsul, a\u015fa precum \u00eei era datoria, nici nu-i da o \u00eenv\u0103\u0163\u0103tur\u0103 ca aceea care se cuvine tinerilor, ci la l\u0103sat \u00een voia lui \u015fi dup\u0103 pu\u0163in\u0103 vreme a \u00eenceput t\u00e2n\u0103rul a vie\u0163ui r\u0103u, a se \u00eemb\u0103ta \u015fi a fura\">But he did not take care of him as he was duty, nor did he give him a teaching that is right for the young, but left him in his will, and after a while the young man began to live evil, to get drunk and steal <\/span><span title=\".\">. <\/span><span title=\"Apoi s-a apucat de tov\u0103r\u0103\u015fie cu t\u00e2lharii, care lu\u00e2ndu-l, l-au dus \u00een pustie \u015fi suindu-l \u00een munte, l-au f\u0103cut c\u0103pitan al bandei lor \u015fi f\u0103ceau r\u0103zboi cu puterea la drumul mare. \">Then he took hold of companionship with the robbers, who took him, led him into the wilderness, and ascended him into the mountain, made him captain of his band, and waged war with the power on the highway.<br \/>\n<\/span><span title=\"Iar dup\u0103 c\u00e2t\u0103va vreme, \u00eentorc\u00e2ndu-se Ioan, a venit \u00een cetatea aceea \u015fi auzind de t\u00e2n\u0103r c\u0103 sa \u00eend\u0103r\u0103tnicit \u015fi sa f\u0103cut t\u00e2lhar, a zis c\u0103tre episcop: \u201cS\u0103-mi dai amanetul pe care \u0163i l-am l\u0103sat spre paz\u0103, ca \u00een\">And after some time, when John returned, he came to that city, and when he heard the young man rebellious, and became a thief, he said to the bishop, &#8220;Give me the pawn which I have left to you, as in <\/span><span title=\"ni\u015fte m\u00e2ini credincioase.\">Some faithful hands. <\/span><span title=\"S\u0103-mi aduci t\u00e2n\u0103rul pe care \u00eenaintea tuturor \u0163i l-am \u00eencredin\u0163at ca s\u0103-l \u00eenve\u0163i frica lui Dumnezeu\u201c.\">Bring me the young man whom I commanded you to teach the fear of God. &#8221;
