gave rise to the Great Union: the Adoption by the Country Council of Chisinau of the Declaration of Unification of Bessarabia with Romania. <\/span><span title=\"Basarabenii porniser\u0103, astfel, Ast\u0103zi noi proclam\u0103m drepturile poporului suveran nu numai aci, \u00een Basarabia, ci \u0219i drepturile tuturor fra\u021bilor no\u0219tri, oriunde ar fi ei\u201d.\">There are not many who are uplifting &#8230; Today we proclaim the rights of the sovereign people not only here in Bessarabia, but also the rights of all our brothers, wherever they may be. &#8221; <\/span><span title=\"Actul Unirii a fost votat cu 86 de voturi pentru, 3 voturi au fost \u00eempotriv\u0103, iar 36 de deputa\u021bi s-au ab\u021binut de la vot.\">The Union Act was voted 86 votes in favor, 3 votes against, and 36 deputies abstained. <\/span><span title=\"Ratificarea actului unirii sa f\u0103cut de c\u0103tre Regele Ferdinand I la data de 9\/22 aprilie, iar recunoa\u0219terea interna\u021bional\u0103 a venit la 28 octombrie la Paris.Actul Unirii Basarabiei va r\u0103m\u00e2ne pentru totdeauna \u00een istorie legat de ac\u021biunea unor personalit\u0103\u021bi precum C. Stere, P.\">The ratification of the union was done by King Ferdinand I on April 9\/22, and the international recognition came on October 28 in Paris. The Union of Bessarabia will remain forever in the history of some personalities such as C. Stere, P. <\/span><span title=\"Halippa, I. Incule\u021b, D. Ciugureanu, I.
